Jr SQL Server Admin / Data Warehouse

• Exciting revolutionary publicly traded online direct marketing company seeks a Junior SQL Server Developer to assist in the ongoing development of the firm's data warehouse. This junior level hire will be responsible for the daily data transfer of content from the production department's servers to the data warehouse. This hire will use DTS (Data Transformation Service) packages to load current data and make table and column schema changes into the data warehouse. Overall monitoring and troubleshooting responsibility for the maintenance of the data warehouse as the in-house team continues to grow. This position will carry a lot of responsibility and is an excellent vehicle for growth and learning.

• 2-3 years overall Information Technology experience
• Strong SQL Server experience in SQL, SQL DDL, and DTS packages
• Knowledge of RDMS
• Experience working in a production environment
• Experience working for an Internet based company
• Exposure to Visual C++ and Visual Basic
• Exposure to data modeling
• Experience working as a DBA
• Experience adding columns and tables in SQL
• Knowledge of indexing in SQL a plus
• Knowledge of Active Server Pages (ASP)
• Experience using various Microsoft technologies
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal skills a must
• Bachelor's degree
